“Attitudes that seemed perfectly normal began to be questioned in the 60s and generations of tradition began to be swept away.
“Certainly between when I started photojournalism in the early 60s and when I finished 20 years later, everything had changed radically,” he said.
“But not as radically as it would change over the next decade.”
